Cannell, Inc., an advisory firm providing specialized services pertaining to the electric utility industry.  Prior to founding her company in 1997, Ms. Cannell spent two decades with Lord Abbett & Co., an investment manager located in New York City.  During her tenure with that organization, Ms. Cannell’s responsibilities included securities analysis of the electric utility and telecommunications industries; portfolio management of both America’s Utility Fund and ten institutional equity portfolios with assets in excess of $700 million; and co-management of the Equity Research Department.  Her educational credentials include a B.A. from Mary Baldwin College; M.Ln. from Emory University; M.B.A. from Columbia University; and the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst. Professional affiliations include membership in the Wall Street Utility Group and the New York Society of Security Analysts.
